Civil Administration forces have extracted several Jewish individuals from Palestinian Authority-controlled cities, including Jericho and Tulkarm, in recent weeks. On Thursday evening, a Jewish woman was removed from Jericho after being spotted wandering in the area, prompting immediate intervention by local authorities and coordination with security forces to ensure her safety. Investigations are underway to determine the circumstances of her entry, and the case has been handed over to the Israel Police.
Similar incidents have occurred recently, with four Jews, including three foreign citizens, extracted from Jericho earlier in the week, and two others removed from Tulkarm last month. Authorities emphasize that entry into these areas is prohibited by law due to safety concerns, and all cases are being investigated by the police.
