A five-year-old boy from the Skver Hasidic community, Matityahu Glick, died following a road accident in New York State. The incident happened early in the morning as he waited for his school transportation near a relative's home. Mistaking a passing girls' school bus for his own, the child ran after it and was fatally struck by the driver, who reportedly did not see him. Despite being rushed to Westchester Medical Center, he could not be saved. The tragedy has deeply shaken the community, especially as it occurred just days after the birth of his younger brother.
