Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has accused the leaders of the United States, Israel, and several European countries of exploiting Iran's economic crisis to provoke nationwide protests and sow division. The unrest, which began in late December due to soaring inflation and living costs, resulted in thousands of deaths following a harsh crackdown by Iranian authorities. Pezeshkian claimed that foreign powers provided resources and support to demonstrators, aiming to destabilize the country.

Amid escalating tensions, the United States has threatened possible military action, while regional allies are working to prevent conflict. Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated that Iran's missile program would not be subject to negotiation and dismissed the prospect of regime change. He also warned that Iran may retaliate against European moves to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps as a terrorist organization.

Meanwhile, Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi has called for international support for the Iranian people, advocating for a transition to democracy. Despite the military posturing, there are indications that both the United States and Iran remain open to diplomatic solutions to avoid a wider conflict.
