The Belz hasidic movement has received final approval for a major expansion of its Great Synagogue in Jerusalem, addressing the growing needs of its rapidly increasing community. The expansion, approved on the community's 'Day of Rescue,' will enlarge the main sanctuary in multiple directions and rebuild the Heichal Hatishim as a vast hall with galleries. This development comes over forty years after the original center was built, reflecting the ongoing growth and significance of the Belz community. The expanded facilities aim to accommodate the tens of thousands of worshippers who gather from around the world.
