Solar energy boom gains momentum as huge projects progress

Major solar energy projects are advancing in both Israel and the United States, marking significant progress in renewable energy development. In Israel, Rapac Energy and Shamir Energy have secured financing to build the country's largest solar facility in the Negev, featuring a production capacity of 174 megawatts and nearly a gigawatt-hour of storage. This project is set to become a milestone for the region, utilizing innovative land use and advanced storage solutions.

Meanwhile, in Arizona, Enlight Renewable Energy is moving forward with the massive CO Bar project, which will supply 1.2 gigawatts of power and offer four gigawatt-hours of storage. The project, developed in five phases, is expected to provide green electricity to more than 215,000 households and generate substantial annual revenue. Both initiatives highlight the growing momentum and scale of solar energy investments worldwide.
