Three 22-year-old yeshiva students were rescued from Jamaica Bay in Queens after falling through ice into freezing water. The incident occurred while they were in the area for a friend's pre-wedding celebration. Emergency responders, including police and volunteer rescuers, launched a large-scale operation involving a helicopter and dive teams. Despite one rescuer briefly falling into the water, all three students were safely recovered and taken to hospitals in stable condition.
