A wild boar caused panic in the city of Yavne after entering a conservatory garden, prompting an emergency response from local authorities. Residents were shocked by the unexpected appearance of the animal in a populated area.
Inspectors from the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, along with the municipal veterinary service, captured the boar. Officials said they had identified the same animal a day earlier after it attacked girls at a residential facility and efforts were made to drive it away.
When authorities arrived to capture the animal on Monday, they determined that it was injured. The boar was safely collected, bringing the alarming incident to an end.
