Jewish conservatives on the far right are raising alarms over commentator Tucker Carlson’s repeated visits to the White House and his growing criticism of Israel. The backlash follows a combative interview Carlson conducted with the United States ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, and subsequent appearances in which Carlson described the Gaza war as a 'land grab' and amplified claims about Israeli leadership that critics say echo antisemitic narratives.

Laura Loomer, a far-right Jewish activist with close ties to President Donald Trump, publicly condemned Carlson’s access to the administration and warned that the Republican Party faces a deep crisis over antisemitism and foreign influence. She urged donors to withhold contributions until party leaders clarify their stance, arguing that Jewish conservatives feel increasingly unwelcome.

Other prominent Jewish conservatives, including Mark Levin and Sloan Rachmuth, joined the criticism, calling on the White House to distance itself from Carlson. Yoram Hazony, an Israeli American conservative thinker, said efforts to mend ties with Carlson had failed and accused him of waging a sustained campaign against Jews and Israel.

The controversy has drawn in additional administration officials and lawmakers, some of whom have defended Huckabee and denounced antisemitism more forcefully. Despite mounting criticism, the Trump administration has not publicly addressed Carlson’s visits, even as concerns grow about divisions within the party and the broader conservative coalition.
