Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence that his state visit to Israel would further strengthen the enduring ties between the two nations and set new goals for their strategic partnership. Upon his arrival in Tel Aviv, he was welcomed by his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu and later held a one-on-one meeting to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation.
The leaders reviewed collaboration across key sectors including technology, water management, agriculture, talent partnerships, defence and security, trade and investment, and people-to-people ties. They also exchanged views on important regional developments. Modi highlighted the vast potential for deeper cooperation in innovation-driven fields aimed at building a resilient and prosperous future for both countries.
During the visit, Netanyahu hosted a private dinner for Modi, and formal delegation-level talks are scheduled to be followed by the signing of several agreements. Modi will also address the Israeli Parliament, becoming the first Indian Prime Minister to do so, and interact with members of the Indian diaspora, underscoring the strong democratic and cultural bonds shared by the two nations.
