The Israel Defense Forces announced that troops operating under the Southern Command are continuing engineering missions east of the Yellow Line to locate and dismantle underground tunnel networks in the Beit Hanoun area. The operations involve targeted drilling to uncover tunnel routes and the removal of terrorist infrastructure both above and below ground.
Forces from the Northern Brigade, working alongside specialized engineering units, dismantled approximately five kilometers of underground tunnel routes. During the mission, soldiers discovered a weapons stockpile hidden בתוך a tunnel, including surveillance equipment, explosive devices, ammunition, grenades, launchers, rifles, and rocket-propelled grenades.
