Brigadier General Effie Defrin, spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces, released a public message addressing growing concerns over possible escalation with Iran. He said the military is closely monitoring developments and remains prepared to defend the country, acknowledging the uncertainty and tension felt by the public.
Defrin stressed that there has been no change to the current guidelines issued by the Home Front Command. He said that if the situation shifts, the public will be alerted immediately and clear instructions will be provided.
He also noted that the United States embassy has raised its travel advisory to level 3, urging citizens to reconsider travel. In addition, Washington has approved the departure of non-essential government employees and family members stationed at diplomatic missions in the country.
