Mohammad Raad, head of Hezbollah's parliamentary faction, was reportedly killed in Israeli airstrikes targeting Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, according to Saudi outlet Al-Hadath. The strikes came after Hezbollah launched several projectiles toward northern Israel overnight.
The Israel Defense Forces said the operation targeted senior Hezbollah figures in Beirut as well as a central Hezbollah operative in southern Lebanon, though it did not officially confirm the identities of those killed. The situation remains developing as further details are awaited.
