India's Civil Aviation Ministry has activated its Passenger Assistance Control Room to support travellers affected by escalating tensions in West Asia that have led to widespread flight disruptions. The control room is operating кругл the clock and has resolved 411 passenger grievances so far in coordination with airlines and airport operators.
Passenger concerns received through social media, online portals, and dedicated helplines are being prioritised. The ministry is also sharing helpline numbers issued by Indian embassies in affected countries to help travellers coordinate necessary assistance.
Meanwhile, several airlines have extended or renewed suspensions of flights to parts of West Asia due to safety concerns and changing airspace restrictions. Authorities have advised passengers to check with their airlines before heading to airports, as schedules may change at short notice, and confirmed that monitoring and coordination efforts will continue during the ongoing crisis.
