Two religious missions chose to travel to Israel despite escalating tensions and the risk of sudden airspace closures. One delegation included more than 100 Christian women leaders, while another group consisted of dozens of men. Both groups said they were aware of the dangers but felt compelled to show solidarity during a sensitive period.
Bishop Robert Stearns, president and founder of Eagles' Wings, said the women arrived to stand with and strengthen the Jewish people. He described their visit as an intentional act of support, emphasizing a commitment to surround Israel with what he called a spiritual Iron Dome of prayer.
The delegations coordinated with Christian ministries and denominations around the world, framing their presence as a visible demonstration of unity and encouragement amid uncertainty.
