Anti-Israel media personality Tucker Carlson drew criticism after alleging that Israel's war is motivated by a plan to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque and construct a Third Temple in its place.
During an episode of his show, Carlson questioned why some individuals were wearing patches that he claimed suggested the war aimed to remove one of Islam's holiest sites and rebuild a temple he described as incompatible with Christianity.
He attributed this alleged agenda in part to Chabad, describing it as a branch of hasidic Judaism. Carlson referenced Rabbi Menachem Schneerson, the late leader of the movement, and claimed that the organization has subtly promoted the reconstruction of the Third Temple over many years.
