The Israel Defense Forces carried out an overnight wave of airstrikes targeting rocket launchers, weapons storage facilities, and additional military sites belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa valley. The military said the operation is part of ongoing efforts to degrade the group's capabilities.

A day earlier, commanders from Hezbollah's Radwan Force and two of its command centers were struck in the Majdal Sel area of southern Lebanon. According to the military, the targeted commanders had recently advanced and carried out attacks against Israeli troops and civilians.

The military stated that precautions were taken to reduce civilian harm, including advance warnings, precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and intelligence measures. It emphasized that operations will continue in response to attacks on Israel and that harm to Israeli residents will not be tolerated.
