Residents in Iran described dramatic scenes overnight as strikes hit several oil depots in Tehran and Karaj amid ongoing attacks by the United States and Israel. One person said it felt as though 'night had turned into day' as explosions and fires lit up the sky.
Local news agencies, citing a source in Iran's oil ministry, reported that fuel depots were among the targets. Video from Tehran showed flames engulfing a street near one facility, with witnesses saying nearby shops and homes were set ablaze.
In Karaj, a resident said the city had briefly been calm before the latest strikes, adding that it had 'turned wild again' after the depot was blown up.
