The United Kingdom Foreign Office has opened a booking portal for British nationals in Dubai seeking seats on government charter flights out of the Middle East. The move comes as thousands of Britons remain stranded following widespread airspace closures and flight cancellations linked to the conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.
Priority for the charter flights will be given to the most vulnerable individuals. The Foreign Office said it will directly contact those who have already registered their presence in the region.
The government began operating evacuation flights earlier this week from Muscat in Oman, with two flights already returning to the United Kingdom. A flight departing from Dubai is scheduled to leave early next week.
