Debris from an intercepted Iranian projectile struck a petrol facility in the Emirate of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates, according to local authorities. No injuries were reported in the latest incident, though officials did not specify whether the projectile was a missile or a drone.
Earlier, a fire broke out in the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone after air defenses intercepted another Iranian drone, the Emirates News Agency reported. Images showed flames and smoke rising from the area.
In a separate incident, civilians in Sitra, Bahrain, were injured and several homes were damaged following what authorities described as an Iranian drone attack. One person was reported to have sustained serious injuries, and Bahrain's Interior Ministry condemned the strike as an act of blatant Iranian aggression.
The situation remains ongoing, with further developments expected as investigations continue.
