Four Jewish shepherds were injured in a series of attacks over the past 24 hours in the Gush Etzion and Benjamin regions. In one incident, about ten assailants from the village of Sa'ir allegedly attacked a shepherd from Givat Ma'aleh Tidhar while he was praying, striking him with stones and clubs. Additional residents who responded to his call for help were also attacked, leaving three people with head injuries. Medical teams from Rescue Without Borders treated the wounded at the scene, and one person was later taken to the hospital by Magen David Adom. Israeli security forces detained several suspects for questioning.
In a separate development, a shepherd discovered an explosive device in grazing land near Route 465 in Benjamin, prompting the arrival of Israeli security forces and bomb disposal experts to assess the threat. The violence follows another attack a day earlier in eastern Gush Etzion, where a shepherd was assaulted by masked assailants and hospitalized with multiple injuries. Police later arrested a suspect in connection with that incident.
