Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that it carried out a joint and integrated missile and drone assault on Israel alongside Hezbollah. According to a statement published by Iran's Tasnim news agency, Iran launched several ballistic missiles while Hezbollah targeted more than 50 sites across Israel with drones and rockets.
Hezbollah fired about 100 rockets toward northern Israel, while Iranian ballistic missiles struck areas in the north, center, and south of the country. Multiple impact sites were reported, and emergency services said a man in his 50s sustained light injuries after being struck in the hand by a flying object.
The escalation follows joint strikes on Iran by Israel and the United States. Hezbollah had previously indicated it would not intervene in the event of limited American strikes on Iran, but warned it would respond if Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei were targeted, who was reported killed in the initial round of strikes.
