The Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation International reported that the man suspected of carrying out an attack at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Michigan, has been identified as Ayman Ghazali, a Lebanese national from the town of Machghara in the Beqaa Valley. According to the report, he allegedly sought revenge for the deaths of his two brothers, Qassem and Ibrahim Ghazali, who were killed in an Israeli military strike on their hometown last week. United States authorities have not yet confirmed the suspect’s identity or released official details.
The attack took place at approximately 1:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, when a vehicle crashed into the synagogue. Witnesses reported hearing gunfire shortly after the crash, and the vehicle subsequently caught fire. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
