Israel is set to experience a sharp rise in temperatures on Tuesday, with lower humidity and mostly clear skies. Strong easterly winds are expected in the northern hills during the morning, while brisk northerly winds will affect the coastal plain in the afternoon.
On Wednesday, temperatures will climb even higher before rain returns. Hotter-than-usual to desert conditions are forecast for the morning, along with strong easterly winds in the north and central hills and possible haze. By midday, strengthening winds in southern Israel are expected to create dusty conditions.
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast to begin around noon, mainly in southern and central areas. Flash flooding may occur in the Negev, the Arava, and desert streams in the Judean Desert and Dead Sea region. Rain is expected to intensify later in the day and spread to most parts of the country.
