Explosions were reported across several major Iranian cities late Saturday and early Sunday, including Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan, and areas near the Strait of Hormuz. Videos shared by a London-based anti-regime outlet appeared to show powerful blasts in southern Tehran, with residents describing the strikes as very heavy and widespread.
Witnesses near Shiraz said around 20 explosions were heard within a 20-minute period, with additional reports of blasts near the city’s airport and a nearby airbase. Footage from Jask Port showed large plumes of smoke rising into the sky, while separate images appeared to capture the aftermath of a strike in Isfahan.
The United States Central Command confirmed that B-52 Stratofortress strategic bombers carried out strikes on Iran during a night mission, releasing video of the operation early Sunday. The situation remains developing as more details emerge.
