The Israeli military launched a new wave of airstrikes across Lebanon targeting sites associated with Hezbollah, aiming to disrupt what it described as preparations for a larger-than-usual overnight rocket barrage against Israel. According to a military spokesperson, launch cells and missile platforms were struck either before rockets were fired or shortly after launches occurred.
In a separate warning, residents of the southern Lebanese city of Tyre and nearby camps were urged to evacuate and move north of the Zahrani River. Specific neighborhoods and camps were identified as being at risk, with officials cautioning that any building used for military purposes could be targeted.
Large numbers of civilians have reportedly begun fleeing the area. The latest strikes are part of an ongoing military campaign that has targeted hundreds of launch sites across Lebanon since the start of the current operation.
