Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz said the country's military campaign against Iran is intensifying and has entered what he described as a decisive phase. Speaking during a security assessment with senior military officials, Katz stated that the scope and strength of the strikes are increasing.
Katz confirmed that Israel killed Iranian Intelligence Minister Esmaeil Khatib, accusing him of overseeing internal repression and external operations against Israel. He emphasized that Israel considers no Iranian official immune from targeting and said authorization has been granted to eliminate senior Iranian figures once operational conditions allow.
He added that further significant developments are expected, warning of escalating actions across multiple fronts, including against Hezbollah in Lebanon, as Israel continues its campaign against Iran and its allies.
