A man in his 20s was killed after suffering a head wound from missile shrapnel during a wave of Iranian missile attacks on Wednesday night. The victim, identified as a foreign worker in Israel's Sharon region, was struck amid the barrage.
In the same attack, an apartment building in Tel Aviv sustained damage from shrapnel, though no injuries were reported at that location. Emergency services responded to multiple impact sites following interceptions of incoming missiles.
The fatality occurred less than a day after an elderly couple, Yaron and Ilana Moshe, both in their 70s, were killed in Ramat Gan by shrapnel from missile interceptions. Five others were lightly wounded in that earlier strike, according to police. Authorities continue to assess the damage as the situation develops.
