Heavy winter rainfall swept across northern Israel over the past day, bringing significant precipitation to the Galilee and Golan Heights. Mount Tabor recorded the highest total with 39 millimeters, followed closely by Kfar Giladi near Kiryat Shmona with 37 millimeters. Similar amounts were measured in Masada near the southern Sea of Galilee and in Harashim near Carmiel, while Merom Golan received 31 millimeters.
Haifa saw about 10 millimeters of rain, while areas farther south experienced much lighter precipitation. Jerusalem recorded around 2 millimeters and Tel Aviv received less than 1 millimeter. Snow is forecast on Mount Hermon as the winter system continues to affect the region.
