Saudi Arabia has expelled Iran's military attaché, his assistant and three embassy staff members, ordering them to leave the country within 24 hours after declaring them persona non grata. The decision follows what Saudi officials described as continued Iranian missile and drone attacks on Saudi territory amid the ongoing United States and Israeli war on Iran.

Since the conflict began, Saudi Arabia says it has faced hundreds of missiles and drones, most of which were intercepted. Some attacks reportedly targeted the United States Embassy in Riyadh, including one involving two drones that caused limited fire damage and minor material losses.

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud condemned Iran's actions, warning that the kingdom reserves the right to respond militarily if necessary. He rejected Tehran's justification that attacks were linked to the presence of United States military bases, calling the strikes premeditated and urging Iran to stop targeting neighboring countries.

Qatar has taken similar action, expelling Iranian military and security attachés and several staff members, and giving them 24 hours to leave, signaling broader regional frustration over the attacks.
