Smoke rose over parts of the Tel Aviv area on Tuesday morning after reports that shrapnel struck a building following the interception of an Iranian missile launched toward central Israel.
Video circulated by Israeli media appeared to show a vehicle on fire in the area, as emergency teams responded to multiple sites where interceptor missile fragments reportedly fell.
United Hatzalah said its medical teams provided initial treatment to several people who sustained minor injuries from shrapnel and blast effects. Search and rescue soldiers from the Israel Defense Forces were also dispatched to affected locations. The incident remains under investigation as the situation develops.
