Ziv Agmon, the acting chief of staff to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has denied allegations that he made racist remarks about Mizrahi Jews. In a public response, Agmon said he would not address all of the slanderous claims attributed to him but felt compelled to reject the specific accusation regarding his alleged comments.
Agmon stated that anyone familiar with him and his work with the prime minister knows the remarks are completely unfounded and far from the truth. He added that members of his own family are of Mizrahi and Moroccan descent and described the allegations as a real injustice against him.
