The prospect of renewed talks between the United States and Iran has added political pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as hostilities between Iran and Israel continue to intensify. Mixed signals from Washington about possible diplomatic engagement come amid ongoing military exchanges between the two long-standing adversaries.

Iran launched several missiles at targets in northern and southern Israel overnight, following Israeli air strikes inside Iran that officials described as extensive. Israel said it targeted command centres belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and the Intelligence Ministry in Tehran, along with weapons depots and air defence systems.

In northern Tel Aviv, recent missile strikes caused significant damage to residential buildings, shearing off balconies and scattering debris into a crater between apartment blocks. The escalating violence underscores the fragile security situation as diplomatic uncertainty looms in the background.
