200th Military Cargo Plane Lands in Israel
The two hundredth cargo aircraft carrying military equipment has landed in Israel as part of Operation Roaring Lion, marking a significant milestone in the country’s ongoing logistics effort. Since the operation began, more than two hundred aircraft and ships have delivered roughly 8,000 tons of military equipment, weapons, and munitions.
The effort is being led by Defense Minister Israel Katz and Director General Amir Baram of the Defense Ministry. Officials say the operation aims to expand Israel’s defense industrial base and accelerate production across domestic defense industries.
According to the Defense Ministry, the continuous air and sea transport operation is essential for maintaining operational continuity, strengthening military readiness, and replenishing stockpiles. The initiative involves multiple government bodies and international missions coordinating shipments from abroad.
