The discussion will focus on coordination between the Union government and states to manage potential fallout, particularly concerning energy and essential supplies.
The video conference aims to strengthen cooperation in the spirit of collective governance. Chief ministers from Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, along with the Union Territory of Puducherry, will not participate due to election-related restrictions, though their chief secretaries will be consulted separately.

He has reassured Parliament about adequate fuel supplies, urged against panic, and convened an all-party meeting to brief political leaders on the situation.
