A cluster missile barrage launched from Iran overnight struck 12 locations across central Israel, including Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Petah Tikva, and Givatayim. Vyacheslav Vidmant, 52, was killed in Tel Aviv after being hit by shrapnel from one of the missiles. Two others were lightly injured at a separate site in the city.
Emergency responders reported extensive damage at multiple impact zones. A senior paramedic described efforts to treat a man with severe multi-system trauma, who was later pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities continued searching affected areas to ensure no additional casualties.
On Saturday afternoon, 13 people were injured in a strike in Eshtaol near Beit Shemesh. The injured, including five children under 15, were taken to a Jerusalem hospital with light wounds, blast injuries, and shock. Since the beginning of the war against Iran, 22 civilians and four soldiers have been killed.
Separately, a ballistic missile and later a cruise missile were launched from Yemen toward Israel. The ballistic missile was intercepted, and no warning sirens were activated in line with existing policy.
