Israel Defense Forces troops thwarted two attempted attacks in Judea and Samaria early Monday morning. In the first incident near Dura, close to Hebron, soldiers identified a suspect armed with a knife running toward them and opened fire, killing the attacker.
In a separate incident in the Al-Ram area of the Binyamin region, soldiers shot and neutralized a driver who accelerated his vehicle toward them, posing an immediate threat. No Israeli forces were injured in either event.
The military also reported that approximately 80 wanted suspects were arrested across Judea and Samaria last week, including senior operatives involved in planning attacks and manufacturing explosives. An additional 40 individuals were detained for incitement and for allegedly participating in stone-throwing and firebomb attacks on major roads.
