Tensions in Israel escalated dramatically after Iran launched a ballistic missile carrying cluster munitions toward central parts of the country. The strike targeted heavily populated areas including Bnei Brak, Ramat Gan, and Petah Tikva, causing multiple impact sites and significant destruction.
Israeli authorities confirmed that the missile was equipped with a cluster bomb warhead, dispersing submunitions across residential neighborhoods. Emergency responders reported vehicles set ablaze, damaged buildings, and scenes of chaos as rescue teams rushed to affected locations.
Magen David Adom stated that at least eight people sustained light injuries, while officials continue to assess the broader extent of the damage. Videos circulating from the scene show large plumes of smoke rising over city streets, underscoring Iran's long-range strike capabilities and intensifying fears of further escalation across northern and central Israel.
