Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced it will target United States companies operating across the Middle East beginning April 1, in retaliation for recent attacks on Iran. The threat follows heightened regional tensions marked by ballistic missile launches and ongoing military exchanges involving Israel.
The group named 18 major corporations, including technology and defense firms, warning that their regional units would face destruction in response to what it described as terror acts against Iran. The statement set a specific deadline of 8 p.m. Tehran time on April 1 for the start of the threatened actions.
Israel's military has also set a Wednesday deadline to complete strikes against what it calls critical pre-war Iranian targets, including facilities tied to Iran's military-industrial network. Meanwhile, Iranian officials have expanded their warnings to include United States and Israeli academic institutions and officials, declaring them legitimate targets after recent airstrikes on Iranian universities and the reported killing of senior regime figures.
