The Home Front Command released updated defensive guidelines following the ceasefire between Iran and the United States. Current restrictions will remain in place until 6:00 am on Thursday, April 9, 2026. After that time and until 8:00 pm, new measures will take effect based on an updated assessment of the situation.

Areas along the confrontation line, including the northern Golan, Upper Galilee, the Bay Area, and the communities of Katzrin and Kidmat Tzvi, will remain under limited activity. Schools may operate only within standard protected spaces, gatherings will be limited to 50 people outdoors and 200 indoors, and workplaces may function only if a protected space is accessible during alerts. Beaches in these areas will remain closed.

The rest of the country will return to full activity without restrictions, except in several regions where gatherings will be capped at 1,000 people. The military said it continues to monitor developments and will adjust the guidelines as needed in coordination with ongoing assessments.
