Indians living abroad in Auckland, London, Swindon, and Brampton organized demonstrations and candlelight vigils to protest the terror attack in Pahalgam. The Indian diaspora expressed solidarity with people back home by waving the national flag, holding placards, and shouting slogans. Many members of the diaspora feel it is important to stand with India in this hour of crisis and show their strength. Protests were also organized in Swindon, Reading, and Bournemouth in the UK. Indians across the world believe that silence is not an option and are planning more protests in London after a Pakistani diplomat allegedly made threatening gestures at them during a peaceful demonstration.
