The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, stated that Iran has shown willingness to resume technical discussions regarding its nuclear program with the United Nations nuclear watchdog. Following recent airstrikes by Israel and the United States targeting Iran's nuclear facilities, the agency has emphasized the need to restart inspections to ensure transparency and monitor Iran's nuclear activities. Grossi highlighted that while discussions on the modalities of inspections may begin soon, actual inspections have not yet been scheduled. He also noted that the agency still lacks information on the current location and status of Iran's highly enriched uranium stockpile, underlining the urgency for renewed engagement.
