Two Nubian ibex twins have been born at the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Royal Reserve, marking a significant achievement in Saudi Arabia's efforts to restore native wildlife. The reserve's rewilding program aims to reintroduce and protect 23 native species, with the Nubian ibex now joining the Arabian oryx, sand gazelle, and mountain gazelle as successfully bred species. The reserve employs scientific best practices, including controlled diets and constant monitoring, to ensure the health and growth of these populations. Spanning diverse ecosystems, the reserve is recognized as one of the most biodiverse protected areas in the region and continues to expand its conservation initiatives in partnership with national organizations.
