The World Health Organization has renewed Madinah's accreditation as a 'healthy city', recognizing its impressive score in meeting international health and urban development standards. The certificate was presented to the governor of Madinah region in a ceremony attended by the Minister of Health. Officials highlighted that this achievement reflects the country's commitment to improving quality of life and advancing sustainable urban development in line with national goals. Madinah now stands as the second-largest healthy city in the Middle East, with several other cities in the country also receiving recognition from the World Health Organization.
