The Israeli military announced that it killed Salah a-Din Zaara, the deputy commander of Hamas's Sheikh Radwan Battalion, in an airstrike in Gaza last week. Zaara, who previously led the battalion's combat support company, was reportedly responsible for orchestrating multiple attacks against Israeli forces. Over the weekend, the Israeli Air Force targeted more than 130 sites in Gaza as ground operations by four divisions continue across the region.
