Iran has announced the execution of Rouzbeh Vadi, a nuclear scientist accused of passing sensitive information about the country's nuclear program to the Mossad spy agency. State media aired what they described as a confession video, in which Vadi detailed sending information about key nuclear facilities, including Fordo and Natanz, and described meetings with foreign agents in Vienna. The broadcast also linked Vadi to other Iranian nuclear scientists who were killed earlier this year. Vadi was identified as a researcher at the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran and held a doctorate in nuclear engineering.
