Climate activist Greta Thunberg has announced her participation in another flotilla to Gaza, following her previous detention and deportation from Israel earlier this year. She revealed on social media that the upcoming effort, named the 'Global Sumud Flotilla', will launch on August 31 from Spain with dozens of boats, and will be joined by additional vessels departing from Tunisia and other ports on September 4. The initiative aims to challenge the Israeli blockade of Gaza and is expected to mobilize demonstrations and actions in over 44 countries in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Brazilian activist Thiago Avila, who was also part of the earlier flotilla, is slated to join Thunberg in this renewed attempt.
