A Jewish couple visiting Venice was reportedly attacked late Saturday night near the Rialto Bridge by three men who hurled antisemitic insults, threw water, and spat at them. The husband, visibly Jewish due to his attire, and his pregnant wife managed to escape after one of the assailants unleashed a large dog, which bit into the man's cellphone. The couple sought refuge in a local kosher restaurant and left the city soon after the incident, without reporting it to authorities. Members of the local Jewish community later alerted the police, who have since opened an investigation.
