Brigadier General Harel Knafo, former Chief of Staff of the Southern Command, has called for Israel to fully dismantle Hamas in Gaza. In an interview, he emphasized the need for Israel to maintain control over Gaza City until all hostages are returned. Knafo further advocated for continued military operations in Khan Yunis and other central areas of the Gaza Strip where Hamas remains active. He stated that Israel must remove the Hamas regime from the entirety of the Gaza Strip.
