A senior adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader has warned that the country is not in a ceasefire and that another war with Israel or the United States could erupt at any moment. Yahya Rahim Safavi, a top official in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, stated that no formal agreements or protocols exist between Iran and its adversaries, emphasizing the ongoing state of conflict.
Safavi suggested that a future war could be decisive, potentially ending further conflicts. He argued that Iran must strengthen its military and strategic capabilities, including diplomatic, media, missile, drone, and cyber operations, to counter perceived threats from the United States and Israel. The adviser underscored the importance of scenario-planning and preparing for worst-case situations.
