Dutch airline KLM will restart its Tel Aviv-Amsterdam flights on September 28, following a suspension in June due to security concerns linked to regional conflict. The route, which had only recently resumed after a year-long hiatus, was halted again after Israeli airstrikes and retaliatory attacks from Iran led to the closure of Israel's airspace.
KLM will operate the route once daily using a Boeing 737-900, accommodating up to 188 passengers. The flight will include a stop in Larnaca, Cyprus, to allow for a crew change, as staff remain wary of extended stays in Israel amid ongoing hostilities.
